More than 35 years ago Silvana started developing and producing pillows. In 1983, the first innovative pillow was developed on the basis of scientific research: the Silvana Support pillow. The Silvana Support pillow is still the most effective pillow with a built-in neck support to this day.
Until the 1970s, the consumer's sleeping comfort was mainly determined by the mattress and bed base. Little to no attention was paid to the pillow. This while a good pillow provides a third of the sleeping comfort. The intended sleeping comfort was therefore rarely achieved.
